Adolescent
Alcohol and Drug Outpatient Treatment Program
FAMILY LIFE
COUNSELING Adolescent AoD program is designed to address the issues young
people have with alcohol and drugs. Our goal is to challenge them to look
at the harmful affects of alcohol and drugs on their lives. We use a best
practice model, Seven Challenges. It provides each participate an
opportunity to discover their need to stop using alcohol and drugs.
The program provides the tools for each participant to
develop additional skills to recover from abuse or dependency. We provide
opportunities for participants to develop skills to prevent relapse too.
Continued recovery depends on many factors, but being open and honest are
extremely important. Each participate is responsible for his/her recovery.
Substance abuse is a family problem and needs to be addressed by participant
and parent(s).
Some warning signs are:
- Sudden, noticeable personality changes
- Severe mood swings

family activities
- Persistent arguments with parents or authority
people
- Refusing to do chores
- Missing curfew
- Drop in grades
- Truancy
- Become sexually active
These noticeable warning signs should be addressed
immediately. Don’t allow denial to keep you from saving your child.
