Worker Compensation Counseling Services

There are many families in Richland County facing desperate situations that involve mental health and substance abuse issues, and financial problems.  For these people,

Family Life Counseling is a place of hope.

About Our Program

When a work-related injury happens, Family Life Counseling wants to be there to help the worker receive excellent mental health benefits.  We treat every client with dignity and respect.  We want to be able to provide mental health services to each and every worker in need due to a work-related injury.

Individual counseling provides the opportunity to share problems with someone skilled in listening and helping people deal with problems or losses.   Counselors can work with people to set achievable goals and suggest ways of attaining those goals. They will also make referrals to other helping services if appropriate. At Family Life Counseling we understand that this can be a difficult time.  We believe that each client has strengths that are supporting them through each day.  Our mission is to walk beside our clients and help them adjust to any changes or obstacles that they encounter.  Family Life Counseling staff are trained and qualified counselors. They can work closely with the care team to provide care which takes into consideration the variety of health problems of individual clients.  We are certified by the Ohio Bureau of Workmans Compensation to provide mental health services to workers with a work-related injury.

How Do I Become a Client?

A referral usually starts from your Managing Provider to our agency.  You can also inquire about our services by contacting an intake coordinator at (419) 774-9969. When you call, you will be asked to provide some information about your current concerns and expectations for treatment so that we may help you determine if our program is right for you. The screening process takes only about 15 to 20 minutes, so do not hesitate to call. If our program is not a good fit for you, we can direct you to another program that may better meet your needs. We will work diligently to coordinate services for you with your Managing Provider.  Our mission is to provide Counseling that Makes a Difference and we would love to make a difference in your life today.
