Founded in Mansfield in 1999, Family Life Counseling and Psychiatric Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation which offers more than a dozen specialized mental health and substance abuse programs to treat individuals experiencing everything from emotional issues, to post-traumatic stress disorder, to addictions, sexual abuse or offenses, to marriage issues, domestic violence, employment problems, disabilities, and more. Programs are tailored for children, teens and adults and make use of evidence-based practices that are founded on rigorous research designs and have demonstrated a record of success for improving client outcomes. For those who prefer Christian counseling, that service is available in all areas of counseling at Family Life.
Case managers are on staff to assist clients and families who need extra support and assistance navigating community services systems. We work closely with local Children Services and the Juvenile Court System to provide the most comprehensive care for our clients.

Many families in our area face desperate situations that involve mental health and substance use issues. Our therapy approach is to treat the entire family, not just the struggling individual. Our goal is to renew and maintain the family structure and support group with an emphasis on returning the individual to a healthy family and community life.
