House of Hope

House of Hope is a Level 2 sober living residence serving Huron, Senaca, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wyandot county. Our mission is to help individuals who are in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse become productive members of their community by providing transitional housing and support. House of Hope is a recovery residence designed for  participants who have demonstrated a minimum period of sobriety for thirty days and are committed to living in a supportive, sober environment. While residents are provided with structured support and accountability, they are monitored but not supervised 24/7. 

To qualify to live in the home, participants will have to demonstrate sobriety for thirty days, complete a background check, make arrangements for financial support, and complete a preliminary and formal interview.

 
For persons who are in need of Recovery Housing programing complete and submit the application below (at minimum your name, phone number, and housing requested).
House of Hope will schedule a preliminary interview within 24 hours of your application being received.  If accepted, transportation to House of Hope will be arranged. 
 Please Note: Applicants with 7–28 days of sustained recovery must agree to a recovery support plan that includes supervision until they reach 28 days of sustained sobriety. Applicants with 28 or more days of sustained recovery are eligible for full consideration for move-in.

Our Recovery House Rules:

    • Take responsibility for your recovery and support for others inside the residence.
    • Take responsibility for your assigned chores and follow the rules.
    • Behave towards others the way you want them to behave towards you.
    • You are a part of a group committed to sober living and self improvement; be respectful of those around you.
