February Director Highlight

February 13, 2023

Meet our director of Clinician Training and Development (FLC Academy) and Director of our Structural Strategic Family Systems Therapy “Arukah” Program.

17 years ago, Ellen had worked at Family Live Counseling and then came back in May of 2021. Ellen has a great passion to see families become healthy and functioning again. This passion is based on the word “Arukah” which means restoration in hebrew. Which makes her the perfect fit for her position here at FLC.

Here are two fun facts we asked Ellen to share about herself:

  1. I have been playing electric bass guitar since the age of 13
  2. I traveled extensively all over the world for the past 17 years in my previous job and during those travels I was once in Nome, Alaska and got to walk pretty far out on the frozen Bering Sea, following a large crack.  I just made sure to keep the Discovery Channel trucks who were filming the “Mining for Gold” show between me and the whitecaps!

We are so delighted to have someone with a big heart as Ellen as a part of our team and for making an impact with us here at Family Life Counseling. Thank you for your passion and all that you do Ellen!
