April Director Highlight

Meet Cheryl Purviance, our director of Home-Based Services. Cheryl supervises IHBT and oversees non-intensive home-based counselors and case managers in Richland and Crawford Counties.

Cheryl is very passionate about home based services. For her it's the best way to engage, have both immediate and long-term impact (when working with parents, you have an effect on them, their children, their children's children, etc.).

Here are two fun facts we asked Cheryl to share about herself:

1. I am a published romance novelist (yeah, it was a long time ago) and had a literary agent for 2 years...then I got my MSW and went into social work
2. I have four daughters and 10 grandchildren

We are so thankful to have Cheryl on our staff and are blessed by her passion for home based services and her clients. Thank you for all you do Cheryl!
