Adult Substance Abuse Treatment Program

Addiction is a disease with devastating effects for the individual, the family and the community. Addiction gets worse over time. If not treated, it is potentially fatal. Treatment works; people get better.

Our staff is committed to guiding to recovery those, 18 and older, suffering with a substance disorder. The intensity of the outpatient treatment is designed to meet the individualized needs of each client. The goal of treatment is abstinence from all substances. Progress is also indicated by a decrease in the amount and frequency of use; decrease in substance-related consequences; and an overall improvement in all areas of one’s life.

Services provided are intake, assessment, case management, counseling (individual, group, and family), referral, and crisis intervention. There are also services designed to meet the treatment needs of dually diagnosed clients - those having both substance abuse and mental health issues. Drug screening is randomly done throughout treatment and self-support meeting attendance is encouraged in conjunction with treatment. Self-pay, Medicaid, and most traditional insurances cover payment for treatment services.

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day, saying, "I will try again tomorrow."
